How we got here
From a single operational block to a multi-district, multi-sector programme.
Founding
FFID is established to work on integrated rural development, starting with a small team and a single operational block. Replace with the actual founding year and story.
Early programmes
First watershed and health programmes launched in the founding operational area, focused on drought-proofing and reducing maternal and child mortality.
Chetna takes shape
The Chetna approach — community-led awareness before intervention — becomes the organisation’s guiding method across every new sector it enters.
Scaling up
Programmes expand into livelihoods, education and governance, and the organisation formalises its board and advisory structure.
Today
Active across multiple districts with a full portfolio of livelihood, education, health and water programmes, run by a mostly locally-recruited field team.
What’s still missing here
This timeline is a structural placeholder. Replace each entry above with the real founding year, key programme launches, major grants, and any turning points in the organisation’s story — donors and partners read this page closely.
